Genshin Impact update 2.2 has brought in two banner replays, which means there will be no new five-star characters in the coming weeks. However, the official social media accounts of miHoYos have revealed two new characters that we will see in update 2.3: Arataki Itto and Gorou.
Both Gorou and Itto are expected to join the Genshin Impact character roster in the second banner cycle arriving around November 20. A recent leak on the Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit has revealed Elemental Burst animations for upcoming Geo Claymore user Arataki Itto. It should be noted that the video features Itto with Constellations to the max. Arataki Itto has been leaked multiple times in recent months and players will finally get a chance to shoot for him. When it comes to his Elemental Burst, it will provide a buff for a couple of seconds, similar to Razors or Beidous Elemental Burst. The buff will allow his normal, charged, and submerged attack to deal geographic damage.
During this state, Ittos' Attack will increase based on his Defense stat, which means that players could find a use for all the strong Defense stat artifacts they have previously acquired. This burst will also increase the speed of your normal attacks and provide 20% physical and elemental resistance. The biggest downside to this Elemental Burst is that it will cancel once Itto leaves the field, meaning players won't be able to quickly switch through their party to deal even more damage.
